Ralink keep disconecting after SP3
Ever since i installed SP3 on my pc my Ralink keep disconecting my wireless connection >_< then i have to reconnect again but it just keep disconnecting every min or so. I even reinstalled SP3 and did a System Restore to before i was exactly before i installed SP3 and the problem keep happening ONLY in the Ralink Configuration(it does not happen in the WZC, but i dont ike WZC at all since ive read is bad for gamming and im a gamer). I have no idea what to do, i even tried to ping my router and modem and i got WEIRD numbers o_o, its normally 2-3ms in both. Look at it:

and welcome to the ForumIf it works with XZC you have identified the problem. . . There is nothing in WZC that would slow the connection . . in fact, WZC will usually producee a more stable connection than the software that comes with wireless cards Have you installed the newest Ralink software

WZC is just a method of managing the connection, once the connection is established, the wireless access is the same no matter what the client used to manage it is.

I had similar problem with RaLink RT2460. I used to access my network with WPA-PSK TKIP mode. It used to work with WZC. But after installing SP3 both WZC and RaLink Tool didn't work. I were forced to switch to WEP mode witch works correctly for me.
