Using Laptop as Wi-fi Access Point

Hello all,
I am currently at an academic camp, where we are using ethernet cables to connect to the internet. So

Internet --wired--> My Laptop --wireless--> Other computers with Wi-Fi

Re: Using Laptop as Wi-fi Access Point

Is it possible to use Windows' network sharing to implement this?

Re: Using Laptop as Wi-fi Access Point

Right, I thought that was the software that allowed you to use a standard wireless adapter as an AP. Such software exists, but I can only find references to it bundled with specific hardware.

I guess a standard WAP is the way to go here.
