Trying to go wireless - Ethernet Controller problem
Hi there.
I have an Advent 5301 laptop with Vista. Currently connected to broadband via virgin adsl with modem. Have been given a Linksys wireless-G WGKPC354G-UK kit Tried to connect it all as per instructions but Ethernet Controller in Device Manager has the yellow triangle and says this device cannot start. The driver is installed ( have removed and reinstalled too) its an SiS191. If i 'view problem details' it says the following: Windows was able to successfully install device driver software, but the driver software encountered a problem when it tried to run. The problem code is 10. I don't know what else to try. I thought it was going to be simple ![]() Hope someone can help. Matt |
