Wireless Connection found / not found
Everytime since yesterday around 8pm, my wireless USB adapter would not find a single connection until I un-install the driver and re-install it. Then to make it worse after I turn off and on my computer again, the samething would happen.... the usb adapter would not find a single connection until I un-install the driver and re-install it.
I even unplugged the usb adapter and plugged it back in, but the still will not find a wireless connection. The Wireless Router and the settings that I have on my computer are correct. It is happening to both Wireless Usb adapters that I have and different brand names, this happened after my computer upgraded from SP 2 to SP 3. Any help? |

Re: Wireless Connection found / not found
I don't know if this will help. I setup any wireless adapter just a few feet away from the router/modem, then move it to the room where it will be used and then check the strength of the signal. One thing I have found is when the adapter receive signal is weak just a small movement ( as little as six inches) of the router can affect the signal.
Or maybe try on another channel. |

Re: Wireless Connection found / not found
Nope, that did not work belfasteddie, because the problem is still persitting. I don't have a clue what is happening, but I'm going to look around for a Generic USB Wireless Internet Adapter if one exsists.
