Connecting a comp w/ internet to a comp w/o internet

I apologise if this isn't in the right section. I'm not good with computers.

I recently bought an Alltel UTStarcom UM150 and have installed it to my laptop, which is a Windows XP. I have Internet on my laptop now and it works fine. I have another Windows XP Desktop but it has no Internet connection (I previously had Alltel Dialup). I was just wondering if there is any way to get an Internet connection to the desktop from my laptop, and if so what do I need to do. Thanks.
