Remote desktop connections?

This may seem complicated but i'm sure you guy's can help.I kinda have a wirless network at home.Kinda means I have machines 1.2.3. #1 xppro,

#2 has remote desktop app.so why cant I access it at home or on the road
using RDC.I've tried IP addressing in definition of RDC with no result. Is this another short fall of XPHE or is there another way out.Any help greatly appricated.THANX!

Re: Remote desktop connections?

If you have multiple RDT machines on one network, you need to change the port for one of the machines to access them remotely. Local access is probably being blocked by a firewall if I had to guess.

How to change the listening port for Remote Desktop
