problems with ethernet connection on wireless network
Hi i have belkin wireless g router which two laptops are connected to it and the connections work perfectly fine . But my p.c is connected to the wireless router through the Ethernet connection and is constantly switching off. When the p.c connection goes off the laptops connection carry on working so its not a problem with the wireless router It is really annoying and i really don't know how to fix it. can anyone help me?

What do you mean it switches off? the PC, router or internet?
If you lose internet connection randomly then this could be a number of things: 1. Check your drivers for your network card are up to date 2. Ensure there are no IP conflicts on the network 3. Faulty cable can cause this problem, try another cable or port on the router 4. Check any firewall settings on your PC |
