Can't connect to alot of websites
It will let me load the google front page but whenever i try to search it wont connect, Lots of the sites just say connecting forever and never load but others work fine with no problems.

i have the same problem and it has nothing to do with the browser or websites. It might be a virus because i keep getting this adware thing in my virus protection, even though it says it got rid of it, it keeps coming back.

depends on your network configuration.
if you simply connect computer->modem->internet then please check things like ping www.yahoo.com if have reply check telnet www.yahoo.com 80 if you manage to connect with telnet but can't display in browser then: 1.browser problem , reinstall 2. virus if your computer is connected with web proxy it is possible that the proxy is down.or have some problem and what you are seeing is the proxy cache. |
