Try resetting IE.

For IE7, Reset Internet Explorer 7 Settings.

For IE6, Reset IE6 to Default Settings

Yeah that doesn't fix it either.

Since no one I know or have asked for help knew how to fix this, I ended up buying another HD, and backed up my files to it, and am formatting and re-installing windows and everything now...

It's a bugger I know. Looking around the forum and from personal experience, I see a lot of poeple with this same problem. Some of the time it's just a firewall issue but a lot of the time it's something else. You try all these things like netstack repair etc but it just doesn't work. In the end it's just an old fashioned format like what your doing know
