ping problem

I cannot ping 2 win 2000 worstations and cannot see any of their shared drives (permissions have been set). The worstations can ping the server and see shares on the server.Used a packet sniifer and I know the ping packets are getting there.

Any ideas? thanks

are the workstations running Zonealarm? It can be configured to stop a ping.

hi
U can not ping to win 2000 workstation u should check the domain n workgroups on ur server
or u should re create the domain on ur client side network.
U should also check permissions in ur active directory

Which error are you receiving? "Request Timed Out" or "Destination/Host Unreachable"
