A DS3 Trouble question
Ok I have A DS3 Trouble question. Ok the other day I had an DS3 that stated it was In-service/RAI “Remote Alarm Indication”. Now this is MUXED out on both ends of the circuit. Slots 1-26 showed In-service and Slots 27-28 were out of service “DOWN”. Also on the DS0 trunk level Slot 1 “TCIC 1-24” “Members 1-24” & Slot 14 “TCIC 325-348” “Members 313-336” were in-service and taking calls, not sure about the Qos service though. The TCIC’s Members Slots 2-13 & 15-26 were all out of service blocked, and of course TCIC’s in slots 27-28 were out of service due to these Slots were out of service “DOWN”
Now there problem was that the carrier found and bad BNC connecter on there Receive and my Transmit. They replaced it and all came back up and in serves “Problem cleared” My question My Theory is: Is the reason this “STATE” happened due to because all the bandwidth is not there do to this problem and the DS3 decreases it’s bandwidth to try and stay up? |
