Sharp AR 450 Network Scanner/copier/printer

We recently aquired two of these machines that are equiped with the network scanning boards and we want to set them up in two locations. Our OS is XP Pro and we have some software from Sharp.

Any suggestions or gotcha's?

Thanx

Alex

Just give them a static IP address and add them to the network. Then just go to printers and faxes and add a new printer. When it asks where the printer is, just input IP address and Whola!

Re: Sharp AR 450 Network Scanner/copier/printer

Thanx for the info. I am specifically interested in setting up the network scanning feature. Any suggestions there? We have a copy of the Sharp's scanning software however I would prefer to use a Windows product.

Windows doesn't have any built in scanning software. You are better off using the software provided with the product anyway
