OK hears my story.....
I recently had to re-install windows as i couldn't get it to start up there were unrecoverable errors on the volume.. thats a different story. After i reinstalled windows i can't seem to get an internet connection on my PC, im using a router and my laptop connects fine so it cant be the router which is the problem. I have used every wizard I can think of and still to no avail, I have checked my network connections and my network adapter is connected and I have checked the drivers and they are installed. The only thing is that in the network connection screen under the 1394 connection it says its connected, firewalled. Maybe this is something to do with it I've tryed everything to my knowledge and I have ran out of ideas. I even resorted to using the routers installation CD (it doesnt have to be used the router does not need drivers) but only to get an error as the router could not be detected although the router detects another PC is connected. Please help. Last edited by toz1990; 06-22-2008 at 05:33 PM. |
