USB or Ethernet
what is the difference between the two with regards to internet connection? and also, which one is better?
just out of curiosity, because some modems have two kinds of ports.

Ethernet is the better choice, as it is a networking standard. USB, while it does work, was not intended for networking applications.
You can use a weedwhacker to trim your entire lawn, and if you're carefull you'll do a good job. But, wouldn't a lawnmower be better?
