Network Hardware Problem
I was having some Hard Drive problems and decided to wipe my disk drive clean with Darik's Boot and Nuke utility. I proceeded to install a fresh copy of Windows XP and oddly enough everything works except for my internet. I went to my device manager and noticed there are no Network Adapters.
As this is an old laptop, IBM Thinkpad A31, I no longer have the CD's that came with the laptop when I bought it. Re: Network Hardware Problem
After downloading the drivers (no success) I just encountered another problem. At boot up it says, "Error loading Operating system." I've tried booting from multiple CD's but it won't let me.
Ah man

Re: Network Hardware Problem
Boot problems AND Hard Drive problems? Sounds like a knackered Hard Drive. If you get the chance run check disk and do a full scan for errors.
