My PC is connected through an 802.11g card, but my consoles are unable to receive a signal where they are situated. I do not have access to the wireless router that is providing internet access. However, I do have a secondary wireless router (Linksys WRT150N) that I am able to connect to my PC.
I am unable to use ICS, due to the internet access router already using the necessary IP (192.168.0.1). Is there a way to set up my router to act as a wireless repeater? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Extending wireless range for gaming consoles
Yes....just configure the 2nd router to NOT use DHCP and connect to first router.

Re: Extending wireless range for gaming consoles
Wait a sec.....why don't you have access to the 1st router? Stealing their signal are you?

Re: Extending wireless range for gaming consoles
You can't do it normally and you need to get 3rd party firmware to use it as a repeater/bridge. I had a WRT54G and I managed to set it up as a bridge before so it does work. Follow the link below for more info on your specific model.
