Pin Extremely Slow Internet Connect

This is what im suppose to get:
DSL Connect Rate (Down/Up) 3360 KBits/Sec by 864 KBits/Sec
I've checked everything im running, nothing, no spyware, or anything, and i usually keep about 20-30 processs running at a time. I go to click status and i see that nothing is using the bandwidth either...so its just the internet. Here is the following connection i get now. As you can see Washington D.C. is only about a 45 min drive from where I live, and i get 450ms below.

Please if anyone can help i would really appreciate it besides calling for a technician to come to my house....and you guys probabaly know more than they do!

Re: Extremely Slow Internet Connect

Register at DSLReports and run their Line Quality Tests. It's best to run this test with a direct wired connection to eliminate any wireless issues from the results. It's useful many times to run this test several times, and we'd like to see each of the results. Post the results link from the top of the test display page for each test run here.

The link to post is near the top of the page and looks like:

If you wish to post this result to a forum, please copy/paste this URL
http://www.dslreports.com/linequality/nil/2357195 <- sample only, yours will obviously be different!
and your IP will be disguised.

Copy/paste that link here.

Note: You will have to enable PING (ICMP) request response either in your router (if you have one), or in your computer's firewall for direct modem connections. This is very important to get the most important part of the test to run.

Re: Extremely Slow Internet Connect

You appear to have serious line quality issues, you should have no losses on the PING tests at the top. Time to call your ISP and complain.

You need to be persistent to get action with some ISP's.

Take them to court or something.

You are paying for a service you are not receiving.

Re: Extremely Slow Internet Connect

Yes, I know, but I just don't want to go through all the hassle. I really just might cancle the service, buy a Desktop wireless ethernet adapter and connect to my next doors neighbors internet...I've been with for Verizon for over five years and yet to recieve outstanding service. I call Verizon, they have wrote a ticket up about 3-4 days ago and also yet to recieve a call again. These American companies need to stick to people from there own country, I knew more than the representative I was talking to. Just Pity.
