Wireless Adapter Not Connecting?
Alright I have been using my Xbox Wireless Adapter to connect my computer to the internet for over a year and for some reason it just isn't working anymore. Back when it worked if I unplugged it an plugged it in in the tray it would say it is connecting. Now it doesn't say anything at all it's as if it isn't recognizing anything in the Ethernet slot.
Would appreciate some help getting this working agai I am clueless as to what is wrong, I thought maybe it was the adapter so I put it up on both my brothers computer and it connected them fine. So I took my brothers adapter and put it on mine still nothing. When it used to work you would plug it in and it would have the internet icon in the tray saying it's connecting then it would connect and go away. And then when you unplugged it it would say "Network Cable Removed", now when I plug it in it doesn't do or say anything and when I unplug it it doesn't do anything either. My router is upstairs and I don't feel like carrying everything to see if it will detect straight from the modem. |
