Hi, I am having problems forwarding ports 2300-2400 TCP/UDP, and 47624 TCP. My computer connects to a main computer through an Ethernet Cable that uses a wireless Netgear WG111T adapter, that is solely how we are connected to the internet. I am assuming there is no router and no modem. It is just a small adapter connected to my USB port. I have tried forwarding the ports on my Norton Anti-virus firewall, and have even shut it down along with my Windows Firewall. I have even tried setting up a static IP address, and that did not help either. When I do IPCONFIG, it just tells me my default gateway is 192.168.0.1, it just doesn't make sense. I am trying to forward these ports so that I can play my online games.

Any help that you all can give me is greatly appreciated. I would like to say thanks in advance, because I know that networking problems can be very tedious and annoying. I appreciate any and everything you all can do to help me. Thanks a ton and be safe. God Bless and Later Days. =P

Re: Portforwarding Problem! Please Help!

If you just have a small adaptor connected to your USB Port then you are probably connected to a wirelles Router somwhere, this will be where you need to go to forward the ports. try putting your gateway addres in your browser you should get to the routers admin page (login page), after that go to here http://www.portforward.com/english/r...outerindex.htm
select your router, find the game your wonting to play and follow the instructions.
hope this helps
