Help please setting up network.
Hi all,
I'm trying to set up a small private network for my group at university. All of our computers are already connected to the internet but we need a secure and separate way of connecting our four computers for backup and printer use. Nobody else must be able to get access. Basically, I need to be told how to do this because I know just about nothing about networking. We're using a combination of vista and XP computers. Thanks, Phil

Re: Help please setting up network.
Do you have access to any small scale firewall hardware? It would take configuring, but this way you could create a separate network as well as a secure network. I've set up a small network using a Cisco PIX firewall.
