Problem with network after reinstalling windows
I had to reinstall windows a few days ago. The computer itself had been virus ridden ever since I had been away for a week (leave it to the family).
Anyway I have the disks reformatted after salvaging any necessary information but now I can't set up any networks on the computer. I do the wizards and stuff but no new options come up at all. I've tried just about everything I can think of, but I just cannot get it to see the network or the internet. I've looked in the archives of this site, someone had a similar problem and fixed it by updating to his old drivers on his motherboard. Problem is, I don't know how to do that without the net or my old files. This is the thread. I am basically having the exact same problem as him.
