Need A Solution to Connect 6 Monitors to one Server

Hello All,

This is something i have been thinking of. I want to setup a Lab where i can connect 6 Monitors to one Server so users can individually login to thier own accounts individually. Does anyone know a solution to use.?

Thanks

Yes. I saw a system in my local Veterinary surgery. Cisco provided and fitted it.
All you see is a small terminal on the wall (like ethernet) with a socket for a monitor, keyboard and mouse. I think they can also provide terminals with a single or dual USB port too so you can load up docs onto your screen.
It might cost you though, decent networks are never free (unless you find a company who are replacing their setup, the technology has been around years now...)

Confused Re: Need A Solution to Connect 6 Monitors to one Server

Thanks for the info but that sounds outmoded. I thought there will be improved solutions to what you just said.

I am still trying, my main aim is setting up a littler computer Lab for training but i don't want to invest in buying 6 computers and one server that is why i am trying to get something that can connect only the monitors, keyboards and mouse to only one server for training. I tut of Thin Clients but i am very sure there will be something else that can connect the Monitors. I will also want to be able to setup a login for all 6 users o they can work on thier own desktops on the same server

Actually, a thin client is the right way to do this. There isn't another inexpensive method that I'm aware of nowadays.
