Slowed internet connection

So my power went out the other day and I lost internet service. With the help from this forum i got it connected (using ipconfig /release and then ipconfig /renew), but now its just running really slow. (it takes upwards of a minute to connect to google, if it even manages to get to google). I figured I'd make a new thread since it is kind of a new problem. So this is my ipconfig /all.

IP routing enabled: no
Wins Proxy enabled: no
dhcp enabled: yes
autoconfig enabled: yes
ip address: 192.168.1.2
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
default gateway: 192.168.1.1
dhcp server: 192.168.1.1
dns server: 192.168.1.1

and my ping yahoo.com was:

Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Ping statistics for 66.94.234.13
Packets: Sent=4 Received=0 Lost=4 (100% lost)

some one please help me get my internet working properly.

P.S. my computer is connecting through LAN

Re: Slowed internet connection

One thing you can do is to un-install the drivers for the network card and then install them again. Un-install the current drivers, reboot the computer and boot into windows, and then once you get into windows install the drivers for the network card.

Hope this helps you out. If you have a router, you can also try reseting the device and see if that helps alleviate your problem.
