connecting my playstation 3 to my wireless internet

Hi i am currently trying to connect my playstation 3 to my wireless internet connection. I have a Wireless G Broadband Router with a 4 port switch and have no idea what to do. I have put in the IP adress and it is connecting with my PS#, but whenever the connection is attempting to connect it says " An error occurred during communication with the server. This is a DNS error ( 80710102). can anyone help me? i have the DNS addresses typed in correctly

What's the exact make/model of the router? Are you trying to connect wirelessly, or with a wired connection?

it is a Linksys wireless -G Broadband Router with a 4 port switch model WRT54G and im trying to connect it wireless

Turn off all wireless security on the router and see if you can connect. Then enable encryption as a separate step.
