School LAN help
i'm trying to get internet on my laptop using my schools LAN, i'm using one of the cables from a school computer. When i plug it in i cn connect to an instant messenger but neither firefox or IE will load anything. How can i get my browsers to work??

if you are going to be doing this you should consult with the network administrator.
as you cant just plug into a school network without permission. you will need to join the domain in order to get access to network resources & internet
