when its done im trying to open a internet explorer there's no connection theres no even local area connectin but i had a ethernet port on the board plus a pci slot ethernet card. i dont know seems to be the problem why the network is not installed. when i look at the device manager theres like 4 of it is unknown.probably i need a installer for the motherboard but my friend told me that he dosent have one. what will i do can anybody help me?
is there any way i can update driver? how will i know the motherboards model or the name of motherboard? thanks..

Re: network not working?

Open the case and see what make/model is yours friend motherboard.
Visit manufacturers web site and download latest drivers for onboard ethernet card, and also see what make/model is PCI LAN card and download drivers for that card too.
Simply install drivers and restart PC.
After that you must make a new connection. but before that you must provide us what type of connection you are using: dial-up, wireless, cable... ???
