We have wireless for the laptop and XBOX 360 I know its not the iwreless router that is broke because the computer still works the XBOX 360 works and it works on MAC but not on XP. I have tried pinging my main computer didnt work the ip address it 169.254.121.109 i have tried to manually assign an IP address still no luck and I have tried to do ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew . I NEED HELP please.

Re: Wirelees not working on windows help ASAP PLEASE

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt:

In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following command:

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.

Re: Wirelees not working on windows help ASAP PLEASE

Try disabling all encryption on the router and then connecting. This is likely an encryption key mismatch error.
