Shutting down computers in network

Hi

I am searching for a solution for the college where I am responsible for IT. We have 5 different rooms with 25 computers in it and I would like to make sure that all the computers are shut down at the end of the day and certainly in the weekend. Is there a solution so I can shut down all the computers from the server in one time, I don't want to do it computer by computer that takes to long.

If so is it also possible to make it that it does that automatically lets say monday at five p.m., friday at seven p.m.?

Now the problem is that most of the computers are being logged of but aren't shut down so it has to work even when the computers that I would like to shut down aren't logged on.

How about a script running PsShudtown. That would be an easy way, and you can schedule the script anytime you like. If you want to shutdown different groups at different times, just use more than one script.

Re: Shutting down computers in network

mstrcommander,

You can easily do this WITHOUT 3rd party software using the Task Scheduler and the Shudown.exe command. Check out:

I happen to like PsShudtown, more flexible.
