Windows XP Pro SP2 w/2NIC's

Hello,

I am running windows xp pro w/ 2 nic cards, one to internet and the other to my internal network. Both have static IP. However, I can only configure the gateway to one interface card in order for both to connect. This unfortunately causes a some serious latency on the other network connection. How can I configure the gateway on both NICs and still have connection on both?
