I Need Help..

can some pls help me with my prob? i want to know how to use a network hub coz' i want to have a net cafe of my own for less budget i would like to learn how to create a network using a HUB my target is 10 units but i know how to connect them all including a server..

please help me just post a short msg on how to use this stuff.. thanx

A HUB is a dumb device. basically just plug it in and go,it only splits the connection allowing you to connect multiple computers to a local network. If you are going to setup a server then you will need to setup DHCP on the server to hand out IP addresses.

There are a lot of things you will need to do if you are running a internet cafe. You might want to do some google searches on internet cafe software. You would need a program like CyberCafePro. This will allow you to time and bill for time.

You need to do some serious research and education on networks in general. Setting up a cyber cafe with no knowledge is an exercise in futility!

thanx thats the thing i worried about, using a hub basicaly i use a outer to connect my pc. if you could give more guide that would be great.. thanx ^_^
