[SOLVED] nedd help with eeePC

I cant setup cable connection on my eeePC (4G surf - Linux version)
When I connecet it to DSL works instantly, also when using LAN at work.
I tried unplugging the modem, and connecting it - doesnt work.
Cable connection works OK in my desktop ( running windows XP)
Any sugesstions?

Solved it by installing wifi router.
Now internet works like a charm.
Thanks anyways.
