Assigning static IP for just one wireless network
Hello,
I was wondering if its possible to have differnet static IP's assigned on the same adapter depending on what network I am connecting to. What I mean is I'd like to have a certaing IP assigned when I am connected to my wireless at home, but not have those setting apply (as my gateway etc etc is going to be differnet) when I am connected to wirelss at work. Is it possible? Appreciate any input. |

Re: Assigning static IP for just one wireless network
Just out of curiousity, why would you want to have static private IP address at both home and work? If you set up DHCP properly you can, for example, have DHCP at work always assign you the same dynamic IP address via address reservation.
