[SOLVED] Need help connecting to playstation network.

Ever since I got my playstation 3 in January 07 I've been having network issues. Typically I will get a message that says "Problem Connecting To Server. This is a DNS Error", and I won't be able to log on. However, sometimes after a few minutes (or even right away) I will successfully log in and everything will run fine only to be kicked back off at some point. Very rarely everything works without a hitch. I should also mention that this will frequently bring down my entire network until I power cycle the router. I have a wired connection and my router is Linksys WRT54G and I never touched any of the settings. Any suggestions will help.

Hi, Check if the Linksys Rourer comes with an inbuilt firewall in it???

If it does Place the ip of the Play Station Under DMZ ..

I think I solved the problem. I contacted Sony and they told me it sounds like I needed to open some ports in my router. For anyone possibly having this problem here are the ports I needed to open:
9293
80
443
5223
10070-10080
3478
3479
3658
So far it's been working great, so anybody having similar problems I would recommend giving this a try.
