Interesting Question(redirects)
Ok. I am wondering if IM Conversations such as on AIM have urls so that you can redirect to somewhere else if that person is IM'd. I know about the hosts file and I also know that aim:goim?screenname=YourAOLID can be used to pop up a window with an IM for that person but I tried mapping that in the hosts file with another IP address and it doesn't do anything.
(I didn't really figure it would) But I am trying to figure out if there is a way nonetheless. Perhaps some way I don't know about or something I just didn't think of? I'd sure appreciate the help and if this is in the wrong section of the forum I apologize because I wasn't quite sure where the question would fit in. -dentedcokecan8 |

Re: Interesting Question(redirects)
I've never heard of any way to do this, and I'm guessing it may not be possible.
