Need help/advice on router asap

I need a router to split my ADSL.
I have a Telstra Bigpond DSL 2071-A 100mbps modem and i am looking at buying a D-Link DI-704UP router(??) to split it into 4 LAN connections. I need to know if it will work with my current modem?

OR

can i use a D-Link DSL-504T ADSL router as just a router with my current modem?

The D-Link DI-704UP should work, but you can't use the DSL-504T with your modem, though you might be able to use it as a replacement for your modem. Do you really have 100mbit service? I've never heard of 100mbit ADSL/DSL service!
