Hey. got a problem, bought this new router the other day Dlink DSL-2740B and i like it, but from time to time i keeps on disconnecting. dont really know why. so i rang up my ISP Provider BT. they said many people get this problem via magnetic waves. like the sky digital box which produce waves. and when the wireless waves from the dlink router and the waves from the sky digital box interfier. the dlink wireless internet turns of because of the interfierence. can anyone help me on this problem. because i dont really think its because the sky box but is there any other way it keeps on disconecting??? i also use xboxlive. and i cant move the dlink bcause of the xbox360 live. any help our der???

Re: Dlink DSL-2740B Disconnection via magnetic waves
Magnetic waves? That's a new one!
![]() Are you connecting wired or wireless to the D-Link? If wireless, try a wired connection and see if that is reliable. Have you changed the wireless channel if wireless?
