Slow bandwith
Okay i have 768kbps DSL
I can login to my modem and see that i am in fact connected with a 864kbps DL and 160kbps Upload, but thats not the problem. My downstairs computers networking speed is  While the computer i use now is 100kbps slower in the DL  Tell me what i need to tell you and ill gladfully tell u, if i can. I am running on Windows XP home edition (both comps) We both connect on a wired connection thru a WBR-2310 router. |

Could be any number of things. Try booting in safe mode with networking and see if the speeds are still slow.
