rdp to network computer
I have been reading about 20 different ways to setup a network with dsl modems, routers etc. but I just can't seem to get it right, so here is what I have:Qwest m1000 router with a static ip from Qwest. I bridged it to a wrt54g router set it up with ppoe entered username etc. The network works. then I have the linksys going to my server (win 2003 r2 x64) and the server is setup with terminal server and remote access. I set a internal network of 10.0.0.90. all this works. Now I would like to rdp into the server and then from there I can rdp to whatever box I want. But my problem is I haven't been able to get it setup to be able to rdp to the server. I set the linsys to port forward 3389 to the ip on the server that is assigned by the linksys, nothing,I tried to set the server ip as static but it didn't like that, I even tried DMZ but I don't want to use that, it didn't work anyway.I have tried a few other combinations but so far nothing. So bottom line I'm stuck, any help will be appreciated.
