Can't Connect To Wireless in a Coffee Shop

I purchased a new HP Laptop dv9700t recently.

Configuration is below:

- HP Pavilion dv9700t Entertainment CTO NB
- Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)
- Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Processor T9300 (2.50 GHz, 6 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)
- 17.0" WSXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1680 x 1050)
- 3GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
- 50% OFF 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS!!
- FREE Upgrade to HP Imprint (Radiance) + Fingerprint Reader + Webcam + Microphone
- Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection and Bluetooth(TM)
- 240GB 7200RPM SATA Dual Hard Drive (120GB x 2)
- LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support
- No TV Tuner w/remote control
- High Capacity 8 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
- System Recovery DVD with Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)
- Microsoft(R) Works 9.0

I was able to connect to both my home and office wireless conections with no difficulty. I went to my favorite coffee shop and couldn't connect. There was someone else there with a laptop and he was able to connect. No passcode is required and the signal is full bars. Two weeks ago (before I had this computer) I had another new HP dv6700tse laptop (that I returned) and I was able to connect easily at this same coffee shop many times.

Anyone have any idea why I can't connect with this new machine (which should have similiar components) and what can I do to remedy the problem?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Canyon

I would try to un-install the wireless network card drivers and re-install an updated version. Check out HP's website and see if there is updated wireless driver version.
