To Bridge or Not To Bridge...
I have 3 servers, one with four nics and the others each have two nics. They are gigabit nics with each connected to a 48 port gigabit switch. We run a POS system that is housed on the server with 4 Nics (henceforth called Server1) and our sales team logs into the other two servers (henceforth called Server2 & 3) via TS to access it.
My question is, would I get a greater bandwidth bridging all 4 nics on server1 (right now only two of them are enabled and they are not bridged) and the 2 nics each on server2&3 or should I just connect all the nics, each with their own ip address? |
