Hi! Nice Forum!
![]() I need to hook up 2 DSL lines and another dedicated point to point wireless connection to an office LAN. I was just going to put the two DLSs through a router each and connect them, together with the dedicated wireless (i think we just get a UTP cable to to it) to a wireless switch. (I'm assuming the wireless will link the office LAN to the server VPN) Problem is - can the LAN have more than one gateway to access the servers (though the wireless vpn) and use the DSL to access Internet? What would be the best topology to connect this all up to the office wireless LAN? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Wireless topology (need advice)
A dual-WAN router would be the best choice. I don't understand the wireless P2P connection, exactly what is that?

Re: Wireless topology (need advice)
The wireless point to point is just a replacement for a 'diginet' line, basically it connects us to a VPN on our hosts network - which is where our servers are at. We will be getting database/web server connectivity as well as internet and email through that line. However I wanted to just have the DSL lines used for internet, separately. But I'm going to run a few tests on the line today and see what the performance is like.
I haven't investigated a dual WAN router yet, will do right now! Thanks! |

Re: Wireless topology (need advice)
Its a 1mb wireless connection, however it will just be for ssh connections to the servers, not much data will be transferred in between. All the data processing goes on the server side,
