Network says security-enabled, when it's not. So no wireless access? :(
Okay, in the Wireless Network Connections display window where the wireless networks in range are displayed.. The network at my home is listed as security-enabled. This is incorrect though, I logged into my router via 192.168.1.1 (it's a Linksys) and checked the security settings. The WEP key/security is disabled.
So now it's asking me for a network password when there isn't even one set not allowing me to gain wireless access. It's not a problem for me to connect via a hard wire. I just can't connect wirelessly (nice word, eh?) Any ideas? |

Try removing all the stored network profiles and then searching for networks again. Also, make sure this is not the neighbor's network you're finding.
