Network says security-enabled, when it's not. So no wireless access? :(

Okay, in the Wireless Network Connections display window where the wireless networks in range are displayed.. The network at my home is listed as security-enabled. This is incorrect though, I logged into my router via 192.168.1.1 (it's a Linksys) and checked the security settings. The WEP key/security is disabled.

So now it's asking me for a network password when there isn't even one set not allowing me to gain wireless access. It's not a problem for me to connect via a hard wire. I just can't connect wirelessly (nice word, eh?)

Any ideas?

Try removing all the stored network profiles and then searching for networks again. Also, make sure this is not the neighbor's network you're finding.
