Turn my pc into a wireless router???
OK so I want to turn my main pc into a wireless router. I have an ethernet card, where my internet comes in. And a wireless card which is unused at the moment. I need a way to get the internet to go out through the wireless card so that I can access the internet with my ps3 and macbook.
Please dont just tell me to do the internet sharing thing, and by that i mean to this point. Right click on the lan connection, check share internet. Thats all i get most of the time when asking this question. Tha or to bridge the two which does allow me to connect to my pc via windows partition on my macbook, but I cannot access the iternet. Is there any program that will do this more easily. I did get this to work perfectly with my macbook. I had the internet go in there and then out throught the airport card and it worked fine, but windows is just such a b*tch with this stuff. Please any help will be apprediated. p.s. I do not wish to buy another wireless router, since i seem to have the equipment to do it without one, I will try everything in my power not to have to buy another one. |

Re: Turn my pc into a wireless router???
Internet connection sharing is the obvious solution. Perhaps you have Windows Firewall or another firewall that is obstructing the communication.

Re: Turn my pc into a wireless router???
If you don't want to use ICS, buy a broadband wireless router.
