Atheros wireless 5005g low signal
Hi all!
I have a fujitsu notebook with a atheros wireless 5005g inegrated card. To make a long story short; when looking for wireless networks with the standard vista "wireless manager" I see full signal strength before connecting. After connecting it goes down to 2 (out of 6) levels. When using another computer connected to the same router, it receives full speed, both before and after connection. My wireless connection also disconnects alot, with a waiting periode of 30 seks or so before I`m able to reconnect. I`ve seen similar problems (and solutions) for Linux users, but this does not help an average computer skilled guy like me. My router is a Thomson Speedtouch 546i set up with wep security. (also tried Wpa etc) appreciate all help I can get. thnx |

Re: Atheros wireless 5005g low signal
You should see if there are any later drivers for your wireless card at the Fujitsu site.
