Need to create a simple WAN...need advice

I have three car lots that all have high speed internet connection. I would like to set them all up to connect to one lot that has a server running management software. I would like to share that software across all the lots. I have attempted to set up an extended wifi network but because of distance and geography that has failed. Can someone tell me how best to do this? I was thinking of VPN but would like some information on how to do that if it is the best option. Thanks in advance!

I think a VPN router at each location would be the answer here. http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satel...=5455739789B02

Do you have experience using those? I was thinking along the lines of building a small computer running as a VPN server at the main location. You think this would be a simpler way of achieving the goal? If you have used these in the past, can you give a little advice on set up, etc?

Thanks!

I didn't set them up myself, but I have a customer that uses them, and they're pretty happy with the results. I think you'll find it's a lot cleaner than having a computer running, and should be more trouble-free.
