XpP won"t connect to Vista

I have two computers, one Vista Home Premium 32, the other Xp Home SP2.

My question is I can see the XP computer from the Vista one and I can go in and transfer files, but I can't do it the other way around. When trying to grab files from Vista to the XP machine it asks for a user name and password, but I never put a password on the Vista machine.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: XpP won"t connect to Vista

Make sure the guest account is active on the XP machine and I would use Simple File Sharing. That should fix that direction. As for going from XP to Vista, my experience is that you have to go through their little file sharing/networking wizard. I havent set many Vista units up on networking yet.
