OS: Vista Home Premium
|
Hi friends:
First of all, this is my first post to this forum. Second, I am a power user but not a real techy. Now, this is the issue put simply. I have been using an HP laptop with Vista Home Premium for 4 months and all has gone well with my wireless connection. It has always been immediate and with strong signal strength. Two nights ago I noticed that I had no connection. Now, every time I boot I must diagnose the lack of connection. I get a "Windows Wireless Service not running" message, with the option to repair. One I repair, the "problem has been solved" and all is ok until I need to reboot. I have googled and tried many things to no avail. Can you help? This is a nuisance. ![]() |

Re: Windows wireless service failure
I've read several reports where Vista's SP1 will solve this issue, don't know if that's actually true or not.

Re: Windows wireless service failure
Next month.
![]() I have it on a machine here, the wheels didn't fall off. However, it's currently only available to MSDN and Technet subscribers and select corporate users.
