How will this work?
Hi, I'm a big dummy with a question on networking and the internet via a router. I have a HP M8330F (desktop computer) and am now using a UTStarcom UM150 modem in a USB port for EVDO. I will have to use a Cradlepoint CTR 350 router (as I understand it) so that the signal can be picked up by this computer, hubby's computer and hubby's cell phone. Now for the dumb question. How does my computer "connect" to the router? The Utstarcome UM150 will plug into the router via the USB connection. How will my desktop get the signal from the router? And how would an older HP "know" to pick up the router signal? Sorry to be so dense.

Re: How will this work?
Well, I don't know where the cell phone comes in, but your computer can connect to the Cradlepoint wired or wirelessly. There is an Ethernet port that can be used to connect wired to this router, and an Ethernet switch will allow multiple computers to connect.
