Wireless connect problem
I have set up a home wireless network. with a Netgear router and two computers, one Windows XP and the second a MACBook. A third machine, an IBM Thinkpad running Windows 2000 Pro (SP4) is a problem.
It has Sweet PC card which detects my network, but will not connect. It just says "waiting for peer...". One problem is that I can't find a way to set up a network connection and network password in Windows. When I click "Network and Dial up Connections" I get a LAN connection Icon that says it is the wireless LAN, but there is no menu item to "detect wireless neworks" that I see in XP, and I can't find any other way to set up the password. Can anyone advise? Thanks |
