Please help, problems logging in windows live messenger 8.5

hey there guys, first I appologize if this isn't the right forum to post such topic but I guess it might be the closest.. I posted in the microsoft support but nobody replied!

I run windows live messanger 8.5 under windows xp home edition sp2 and I have internet explorer 7

The problem that I'm facing is that when I try to loging I get the following error message:

"Signing in to Windows live messanger failed because the server is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
Error code: 8100030d"

When I start the connection trouble shooter, I get all green ticks for the test results but in the advanced settings, testing the TCP produces the following output:

"Resolving the server name...
Connecting to the server...
Connected, Verifying ability to send data now...
We are unable to connect (0)."

The problem isn't consistent, sometimes I can login fine any time but other times when I get the error I cannot login until after 00:00 (midnight)...

I tried to change the system time to something after 00:00 but it still didn't work. At the moment the system time is automatically syncronized with a time server which is time.windows.com

other suggestions I tried is to restart the wireless router... restart my connection to the router... restart the pc itself... disable the firewalls (window's and norton's)... reinstall live messanger... and others non of which worked.

Any idea whats might be causing the problem!!
many thanks in advance.. and if I failed to provide any details please let me know.

hasan
